A Study on University Students' Perception on Family Resilience Based on Their Response Characteristics in A Korean Version of Kinetic Family Drawing
Hyun Eun-Min

Abstract
This research is to analyze correlation between the perception of family resilience and the characteristics of the Kinetic Family Drawing(KFD) response completed by 348 Korean university students (149 male and 199 female) in the G area. The results were as follows: First, the family resilience levels showed a significant difference between the high and low group. Second, the family resilience (family strength/family resource) level also differed significantly according to sex. The characteristics of the KFD response showed significant differences in the figure action, figure characteristics, and dynamics, where the female students drew more perfect faces and more friendly facial expressions. Third, the characteristics of the KFD response in relation to family resilience revealed a significant difference in the figure action, figure characteristics, and dynamics. The high family resilience group drew more friendly facial expressions and larger mother figures and self-figures when compared with the low family resilience group. Fourth, the perception of family resilience showed positive correlations with the figure action and subdomain dynamics of the KFD, and with the whole KFD. Therefore, the above findings suggest that KFD is a useful tool for the selection and estimation of family resilience.
